Required Equipment and Software
The iPhone XR must be running the latest supported iOS version. A computer with Microsoft Windows or Apple macOS is required, along with a stable internet connection, compatible USB cable and reliable USB connection.
USBLITER8 is necessary for completing the Diags procedure. A valid Serial Number is also required during the Hello Screen setup. Users must contact their reseller or administrator to obtain the required Serial Number before starting the service.
Service Process
Connect the supported iPhone XR to the computer using a compatible USB cable and open iHello HFZ Premium. Start the Hello service, after which the software automatically places the connected device into Recovery Mode and DFU Mode.
The required Serial Number will be displayed inside the tool. Open USBLITER8 and use its Diags function to write the new Serial Number. After this step is completed, return to iHello HFZ and start the Hello service again.
Allow approximately one minute and thirty seconds for the activation process. After the iPhone reboots in activated status, click the Hello option again to finish the setup. The software will then automatically apply the supported OTA Skip and Erase Protection settings.
